Reviews of Egyptian Nights 2008: The Journey:

This night of dancing was indeed a 'journey' into skillful,

imaginative possibilities.  The costumes were thoughtfully

designed around the stories being told in the dance.

This performance not only made me want to sail to exotic

places but also to cruise into unexplored areas - the

what-ifs and maybes - of my own life.  Thank you, Alexia,

for sharing your talent and expertise with Knoxville.

I heard one lady comment, "I've seen belly-dancing in

places all around the world.  Whoever would have thought

it would be in Knoxville!"  You are still the best!!

We certainly enjoyed your most recent show at The Pellissipi Center for Performing Arts.  I didn't think it was possible to improve on the others, but I think this was your best show ever!  Your creativity for the choreography was not only beautiful but diverse.  What a good idea to make the show a journey of a cruise ship through the Mediterranean with varied styles, costumes and music!  I also appreciate that you bring in highly skilled dancers from other parts of the country. It wasa real treat to see Virginia from Miami.  How fun to have world class performers visit Knoxville!  Also I wanted to mention that the venue at the Pellissippi State Performing Arts Center is a wonderful location with comfortable seating and great visibility and acoustics.  Our friends loved it and it was a fabulous introduction to the art of belly dancing.  Once again I congratulate you on such a successful show! Its always good to see you in your talented, beautiful, elegant best!                                                                                                                               ~Kim, Knoxville
