Nancy has been studying Oriental Dance with Alexia for 4 years and has performed with the Alexandria Dancers for 2 years. She has previous experience in modern and jazz dance, as well as substantial martial arts experience. Nancy has studied bellydance in intensive workshops with Alexia, Samara of New York, Virginia of Miami, Gina of Atlanta, and Bozenka. She has appeared in Alexia’s Egyptian Nights series, the Knoxville Rossini Festival, Cedar’s of Orlando, and private parties. Nancy is motivated by the challenge of mastering the art of Oriental dance, as well as the intricate costuming used in performances. She particularly enjoys Oriental pop, classical Oriental, drum solos, and swords.
